As for you, Diane and Patriot, I hope that no one in your families ever suffer this kind of abuse - especially since you probably wouldn't know about it until many, many years later. Being abused by a pedophine is one thing, but for those with strong ties to the Catholic Church, the fear of saying something bad about someone believed to be "annointed" by God to serve his flock is especially intimidating. The Church buried this for years - why shouldn't they pay? Steep financial judgements have a way of changing chronic behavior at both corporations and other organizations.
