NEVER even insinuate negativity about the financial condition of an insurer. That is a law in almost every state. So, if the ad had been worded to just say:

"Are you insured with AIG? Call us to see what your choices are!"

I doubt the DOI could fine for that but you might get the same response anyway...

Just asking if you are with a company is not negative...

But, who knows?
