I was at that meeting- we were the only insurance company that was interested enough to get the new information and show up.

The real question is: If Springfield and Greene County are participating in the NFIP, have building standards, floodwater retention, storm drainage buyouts, etc,etc, why are properties that didn't flood for 50 years now suddenly filling up with a light shower?
