I visited Brook over 4 years ago as a company executive. When I left I told my associates traveling with me that Brook will fail and that we needed to see that we are protected when they go down. There was no way anyone could buy an agency, get rid of the owner, bring in new owner, sell it for a profit and expect good things to follow. An agency business if hard and and must be run by people who understand insurance and know their community and are known in the community. The investors who bought this repackaged debt as securitized debt are sure to pay for the brunt of the stupidy.
