A tornado is a tornado is a tornado - it is selective, unpredictable and devastating - My heart goes out to the parents for their loss - - - but GMAB - - - Even with the quoted allegations posted by Long Shot, if anything, sounds like the building inspector who cleared the house during construction and issued the occupancy permit is just as much to blame if the foundation was in fact "faulty".

From HA! - "This tornado hit Rogers on September 16th 2006. It was a category F2 (Fujita scale) tornado, had a width of 100 yards and travelled 7 miles in its roughly 10 minute lifespan. The young girl was killed 3 minutes into the tornado's development which was prior to the local weather service even having enough data to issue a tornado warning. In other words this was a very rapid developing tornado that gave no advance warning."

Per info on http://www.spc.noaa.gov/climo/torn/2006deadlytorn.html - 200 to 300 homes were significantly damaged in Rogers, and - 50 homes destroyed. Some homes in neighborhoods were destroyed while others were untouched… typical - and unfortunately, expected. The loss of a child is devastating, but to file a lawsuit is unconscionable. Their 19 year old son was also in the house along with 3 other children they were babysitting…it was a tragic event.
