Since when do they rate auto policies based on your income? The increases would apply to ALL insureds. Sure, the rich could afford it better, but this is not targeted to low and middle income folks.

Also, such low coverages don't benefit anyone who ends up as a claimant against at-fault drivers. In today's economy, the current limits are a travesty.
