The present bill by Senator Frist will not cover all the people who have been injured by asbestos exposure. Those who have mesothelioma are going to die-those left who have some kind of asbestosis have suffered also and have been rejected from future employment by insurance companies who refuse to hire anyone who has been exposed to asbestos that shows up on chest x-rays.
Republicans, in general, want to conserve, even at the expense of someones life and health.
