Well Jon and B.C., your opinion's duely noted.(no pun intended) But, what causes me not to relax is that there is nothing left of my Great Uncle's house except a slab of concrete. He lived across the bay from Pensacola in Baldwin County. I have not been able to contact him as yet, but am concerned about "depretiation" claims from Insurance companies. When a disaster happens, IC's pay out according to the value of the house after it is damaged. A 2-story beauty is now a slab of concrete. Paying many years of insurance can add up to a little more than a six pack and candy bar.
