Insurance is fun? I think NOT. I seem to always get canned by adding a little fun to my casualty u/w. Seems like the slogan should be, "can my underwriter really be in Calcutta India?" How come my underwriter always ask me to hold on a minute while he drives his taxi? I don't know, unless the industry turns profitable, there will be no fun.
P.S. Fun could be thinking of constructive ways to exclude hurricane exposures and get a premium increase to boot.
