Right on David. I too left the 'big' houses to purchase a mid size brokerage that is too small to have contigent contracts with carriers. No matter, we do business in an honest way and are growing.

The opportunity for us now, as this escalates, will be big as Marsh and other big brokers accounts become vulnerable, as do their staff. Nonetheless, it paints our entire industry with a dark brush that I'd rahter not have to deal with.

I cannot say, however, that they don't deserve what they are getting- they do.
