I am so glad I left and became an independent 18 years ago. I am not surprised to see the company self destructing. I had a DM who was very arrogant and I was one of the top commercial guys in the country. I personally like Zurich. I do not appreciate Zack's comments. Farmers agents can only be terminated for stealing money and material misreps. That is the beauty of the agency contract as opposed to a contract for an independent. As an independent, we have new goals every year. If someone chooses to stay Farmers and not independent, they should not have to worry about terminations when the company does not have the ability to terminate. They should not have to worry or be concerned with DMs or management not liking their production or lack thereof. The company people have always been part of the "peter principal". they always rise to their highest level of incompetence.
