Has anyone looked at the legality of disclosing one's income if you are not a publicly traded company?

It seems to me that as a privately held company, I am not required to disclose my income to anyone but the IRS?

Am I missing something or should all of the small, privately held business in the U.S. have to disclose their income to their customers?
