Lots of people say that not all ATV riders are lawless or bad. Well, I'm not convinced of this. I live next to a non-motorized trail system designed for biking and walking. My home is about 40ft from this trail,which was estabished four years after my home was there.You would think that some one with an atv would know better than to drive on a walking trail and for sure not to drive their atv up and down this trail beside a private residents but no they just loss all common sense when they buy those atvs. I'm not talking about kids or outlaws but all sorts of people, young and old. I've send the local MLA on this walking trail with his ATV. It's illegal to drive on this trail but they just don't get it. They have no respect!
Now the law makers think new laws,and education are going to make things better, that ATV riders are going to obey them, fat chance! The police say they can't chase them or catch them so what's going to be different.
Our health system is taking a beating and insurance rates are sure to rise with the increasing injuries due to atv's and they are not needed, people have feet, use them you'll feel better and we all will breath easier.
