I am not surprise by this move, given Spitzer's bid for the governorship of NY looming on the horizon. It is true that AIG has become a powerhouse, but with the ongoign investigation, it makes one wonder...
The article states that AIG has very experienced management in every business unit, and it makes me shudder to think that given the size of AIG, that corruption was only limited to the CEO...expect further disclosure and given the delay in their annual report, more interesting stories to come.
