Who does your research? Prior to AIG getting downgraded, only AIG, Berkshire Hathaway and USAA had the highest possible ratings from the three major rating agencies, A.M. Best, Standard & Poors and Moody's. Now that AIG has fallen, that leaves Berkshire and USAA. Doesn't Berkshire have a date with the regulators in April?
