Steve - it would seem to me that you should be able to find a broker that can communicate with you electronically and gather all of the data needed to obtain quotations for your business. The policy could be scanned and emailed to you after issuance by the carrier. As a California based broker I prefer to meet the people I will be working with, but I just placed coverage for a new client and everything was done via fax, email and telephone.
