It's good to hear consumers are at least thinking about taking new steps to defend themselves against identity theft, and realizing ID theft CAN happen to them. With companies losing our data at an alarming rate (and in amazingly simple ways), people need to know what options they have besides credit monitoring and other post-event notification services.
