My home was seriously damaged by a flood on 6/14/06. As of today (10/18/06) I have not yet received my check for damages. It 's (going out today, in the mail, on his desk ready to go out) every time I call to find an answer. This has caused an unbelievable amount of stress on me, so much so that I now have to be under doctors care. Nerves shot, heart palpitations, can 't sleep, can't eat, etc. Isn't there something that can be done or is an insured just a number to Hartford? Is there a way to include my comoplaint into the law suit against Hartford that's going on in Maryland? Just what recourse do I have to compensate for the frustration/nerves I now have to deal with?
