When will politicians recall economics 101 and realize they shouldn’t step in and try dictating the market. Nothing frustrates me more. Just look at the pseudo government insurance companies like State Fund in CA. They are one of the most difficult companies to work with and always teetering on bankruptcy. Guess what folks they were created to write risks because no one else would. Instead of challenging what insurance companies do, how about helping create market conditions that encourage growth so we will see more companies wanting to write business.
