The correct commercial coverage is called DIC - difference in conditions. Hard to get? Not if you know what you're doing.
My son & daughter-in-law live in Gulfport. They evacuated early on. Lost everything. GEICO had an email to them two days after the storm hit instructing them what to do - great service! Would most independent agents even have their client email? Would IA insurers?
By the way, I sent a check for a month’s income to the Red Cross to answer your question - thats in addition to our regular contribution. We have also opened our home to a student from the devastated area. I have also set my staff to coordinating others who want to house students.
