Subject: Exclusion of commercial auto liability under TRIA?

Comment:
In our Monday morning sales meeting when producers were informed commercial auto liability was now being excluded under TRIA, question arose as to what truckers/ risks with trucking exposures are expected to do for coverage? The example of a truck loaded with explosives causes an explosion while driving into a refinery or some other volatile operation? It is obvious the toll for Bodily Injury and Property Damage could be quite catastrophic. Short of it being difficult to predict such a loss we were looking for any additional rationale as to why Commercial Auto Liability is excluded under TRIA? Thanks
