Of course the private sector wont help the least fortunate there is no money to be made in it, last time I checked we are a capitalist society. If you are so bothered by "poverty" why don't you start a charity using donations from willing parties... as far as I'm concerned the only people in this country that deserve a hand are the people who have been disabled from birth or for something completely out of their control. I don't know how many times I must say this but people have no right taking money from me over the poor choices they have made in life. If you are logical you will be able to look at everyone and know that they are were they are because of the choices they made in life. Also I wasn't "attacking" him I was simply saying he believes in a form of gov't that doesn't work..Socialism, not only does it not work it is also morally wrong. Redistributing wealth is not the answer to society's problems, nanny governments create dependence which is obviously bad. They are providing us with bread and circuses(google it if you don't know what I'm talking about). Do you think I honestly care if you voted for John McCain??? John McCain is about as conservative as Nancy Pelosi. I'm over this I'm not going to convert you guys because you use feelings to establish your opinions not logic. Maybe you should apply some of that LOGIC when you actually read the law, perhaps then you wouldn't defend such ridiculous act.
