I'm no socialist, but you cannot make the blanket statement that socialism does not work.

Our capitalistic society is at its weakest at the current moment, with no less than a full communisitic regime (China), holding more of the dollar value than any other country. They are building a city the size of cincinatti every 3-6 months. But I am not defending it, or saying thats what we need here.

But, take Great Britain for example, a what you would call "socialist" regime. Their infant mortality is lower per capita (better access to QUALITY healthcare), their are less DEPENDENT people (unemployment is lower than U.S., people actually work), for the most part have much higher work ethic and lead us in per capita spending on research for the betterment of humanity. Don't preach about how superior you think we are, you sound like a typical republican defending failing policies. Long Live the president of lies, and the vice president of torture. Had they both actually expierenced what military service was like, they would not be so stupid commanding and sending middle america's children to die in a desert hell, which, could have been accomplished with more isolation, and no loss of america's kids lives.
