I don't know who "No Lamb" is but it would appear you work for GEICO and that's why you cannot divulge your real name.

To clarify, as I was dropping off my car for autobody work, I called GEICO and told them I was standing in the Toyota Autobody repair shop. I asked them if I had loaner (not rental) car coverage so that I could rent a loaner car from Toyota to use while my car was in for repairs. I asked them: do I have the loaner car coverage or will I have to pay for the loaner car myself if I rent it. They said I was covered. 10 days later, their claims people said I didn't have that coverage.

I agree there was a communication problem but it was on the part of GEICO's rep. Whether or not I actually have the coverage is not the point. This is simply a matter of whether GEICO was willing to resolve a problem it caused by leading me to believe I was covered. Clearly it wasn't. Not a wise move as to date 244 apparent would-be GEICO consumers have visited our site through Google and have seen how, I believe, GEICO mishandled this.

If you do work for Geico, you can tell them I said so, whatever your name is.
