Boy oh boy. Are we spoiled or what? I think Sir Isaac Newton may have some input on just how dangerous 3000+ lbs can be when traveling at almost any velocity over 5 mph. Do we not get it people? Vehicles are dangerous and should be operated with great care. A driver doesn't have to be distracted to have a collision. No matter how many laws there are, they will never take the place of common sense. Pay attention when you're on the road!!

Talking on a cell phone, whether it be hands free or not, is no worse than changing lanes by using only your rearview mirror to check for other vehicles. Ever hear of a blind spot? Come on now, do we really need percentages to know that we ought to be careful on the roadway and have as little distraction as possible?
