Before deciding on a method of finance everyone should check recent archives of the London Telegraph newspaper. Their costs are all out of line and the quality of care is way down. A recent lawsuit found in favor of a patient who was "in line" for an operation and went to France to have it done right away. The Britt plan had to pay the bill. The old standard way of holding costs down by rationing care is not being accepted anymore. I don't think it would be accepted at all in the U.S.
