Our basic benefits are free and adding the dental/vision plan was very affordable. We wear jeans to work every day, saving us money on business apparel. The company matches 50% of our 401K contribution. We get almost as many paid holidays as a bank, plus vacation and other opportunities to earn paid days off.
In return, the company asks that the employees volunteer for the community on various projects. So we sometimes spend a weekend picking up trash along the highway or participating in a charity softball game. Fine with me!
The company is continuing to grow, we're up to almost 400 employees, but it still feels very much like a family business and it looks like it's going to stay that way.
