It used to take me 45 minutes to drive eight miles to work, when school was in session. I took the "back roads."

My friend used to drive at least 1.5 hours each way to work. Within a year, she became totally burnt out from the commute.

I pity the folks driving an hour or more each way to work. I hope their employers treat them exceptionally well.
