No surprises here - I don't see any positive change from the status quo - currently the insured are paying via higher premiums - under this plan, they pay via taxes (government has to pay for these tax breaks somehow) - and knowing the inefficiencies of doing anything via the fed govt, probably paying billions more in the long run. Why was there no mention of the record profits we see in the healthcare system, including the big drug companies ? And the insurance companies are going to pitch in by trimming administrative costs - bully for them ! What an innovative idea ! duh - why wouldn't they be doing this now ??
As long as our politicians - any party - keep taking "drug money" from the hospitals and drug cos we won't see any real reform.
