I'm really not sure why there is so much resistance to the idea. This is not a new concept. We've been talking about global warming for years. When you talk about natural trends in temperature shifts, we are now in an anomilous (sp?) situation. What exactly is the alterior motive for those who are "pushing" this theory? Who doesn't want to get better gas mileage, who does not want to have less pollution, who doesn't want there to be less health issues associated with pollution...? Did we forget the hole in the ozone layer? We can, though industry damage the planet.
I'm just thankful that we are moving in a direction that, regardless of the attitudes on this site, to seriously look at this problem and come up with ideas that will correct it. Thankfully, your kind of thinking is in the minority.
