When Wind Blows even a few shingles off of a home, it causes leaks.

The damaged area of the roof can be removed & replaced only if the new shingles can match the other sun faded shingles.

Insurance must pay for the removal, replacement of roofing, insulation, walls, paint, carpet, & any contents that were ruined from the leaking roof.
Minus your policy deductible and your hurricane deductible.
The only pay above the water line.
Same as broken windows.

If the home is uninhabitable, Loss of Use benefits come into play.
That was also denied by Ins. Co.

State Farm did not want to pay $1.00.

Wind blew trees down (barks w/20' radius)

Shingles were flying like snow in PICAYUNE, MS.
I was afraid to stay by the window but I had to peek because I could not believe my eyes.
Did you see the damage in Hide-Away-Lake?
It was like a bomb went off.
Trees rocketed into the front doors,
crushed homes down the middle and or the left and right sides.
These Homes average $500,000+
No Water, ALL WIND.
Check out claims paid in that area.

US Coast Guard did the study.
They said Katrina WInds up to 200 MPH hit land 1 to 4 hours before the water.

The Wind did plenty of the damage,
the surge Finished us off.

This is the truth.
Like it or not!

To say Katrina did not have wind damage is the understatement of the century.

Ask State Farm, because they have learned a very expensive lesson.

A lesson that will go down in history.

You won't find out until it happends to you.

We got ours...God help you when you get yours.

I do not wish this on anyone, Not even the ones that throw stones at us
