While the life of a professional athlete seems glamorous at the time, the after effects on the body are anything but. The wear and tear placed on their bodies has life long consequences. The use of any type of steroid substance will effect your heart, lungs, muscles, metabolism, bone structure. Unfortunately, there is a hefty price to pay for this fame and fortune.
These athletes should be commended for the sacrifice they are taking on their own physical future to entertain the public.
