I am more worried about the poor insureds who have been with local independant agents and are suddenly, through no fault of their own, forced to do business with someone who they did not seek out and who might know absolutely nothing about the insurance industry. The franchisee's who sign on are not professionals, they are desperate people who sign contracts hoping against hope that they can grab the gold ring and make a gozillion dollars. Then when they find out it takes work to make a living they bail and leave the insureds holding the bag. Then, when Brooke sues the poor franchisee and takes back the franchise it starts over. The victim? You guessed it, it is the consumer. We have dumbed down our industry and it is affecting all of us.
