I need to read a copy of this ruling. There are several things I can see wrong with forcing employers to pay for 100% of PPE. One being - who buys the PPE? If an employee brings in PPE instead of using company provided gear is the company then forced to pay? Who owns the gear? Can the employer have a mandatory "buy-back" for custom PPE purchased for employees that don't stay long enough to make the purchase worthwhile?

In general I'm for employers paying for PPE - for all the reasons stated in the article and a few more. I simply worry the government is opening up a big can of worms with this one.
