thanks lastbat, I really enjoyed your post, all of it. You have demonstrated the kind of critical thinking that is so uncommon today. And one single comment says it all: " Let your convictions show through strength of argument, not strength of insult." I suspect that it is the nature of posting by nom de plume that encourages the name calling and mud slinging; this is what divides America, not political debate.
