All of 6 months at home for this corrupt "officer of the court" as a penalty for fraud? I don't care if he is 80 years old. He obviously didn't care when he intentionally screwed people out of $2.6M. At his age, he probably stays home anyway so there really is no punishment. This judge is a disgrace to the system as much as his old croney. In essence, his "sentence" amounted to a "shame on you" slap on the wrist. I doubt this was the first scheme this creep was involved in......only the first one he was caught in. Bottom line: he lived to be a ripe old age and probably lived very well on other peoples money. Now that he's near death he has nothing to lose.
