Did the email referenced spell out the duplicity of this transaction? Just telling Buffett a deal is on the table does not make him complicit, but it begs the question of why the instigator of this deal, Mo Greenburg, isn't charged with something.
He is the one who benefitted from the propped up financials with the fake reinsurance deal aka finite reinsurance.
Amazing, the pull he had to distance himself from this one.
I can't say with any certainty whether Warren is totally clean on this thing, but he sure wasn't up to his nose in it the way Hank was and nobody is dragging him through the slop.
What a country! as Yakov Smirnoff used to say.
