I would prefer if we stuck to the issue but since you mentioned Dubya....I, for one, was never confident in his ability to manage ANYTHING, beginning with his oil ventures, through his Texas Rangers deal, on to gov of TX, and on to the presidency. I am quite sure that economics should not be treated with a political agenda and I am equally sure that Dubya's strong point is NOT economics but getting himself elected by smoozing up to the money men. Why else could banks get the industry deregulated, so that usury is no longer the MORAL crime it used to be; where are the "Merican" values now? Anything that this administration proposes always reaches farther than the crisis at hand. Why eles is everything going so well today? Ask yourself, are YOU better off after 7 plus years of "leadership"?
