Sorry, but the gov't that hands out money to airlines, mortgage companies, and Bear Stearns to save their collective billion dollar rear ends can spare a few to help out the little guys (meaning policyholders).
IF they didn't bend over backwards and hand out money to the big businesses when they're stupid, I'd feel differently. I resent them helping (rewarding) the 8-figure income CEO's for being stupid. But if that's how the boys in the club play, the very least they can do is help keep at least something (meaning flood premiums) from tripling on the ones that can't afford to 'buy in'.
