If your Gen Cas Marketing Rep was telling you that, then please tell him/her that he/she is an idiot the next time you talk. It isn't true, and that comes straight from GC. Personally, I find it hard to believe. Our agency is doing business in 2 states, Wisconsin and Illinois, and we happen to know from the top that General Casualty is expanding their products, including farm, and QBE is looking to expand, grow, and acquire. You can read the financial market reports and understand what QBE is and what they are doing. The only people that are nervous are those at "other" carriers. They see what is happening.
