I'm glad that Jeffrey Ludrof is gone. For those who want to know how your insurance companies are rated-- Google "FBIC". It will give you the top 100 "Hall of Shame" companies and the top 100 "Hall of Fame" companies. The "Hall of Shame" are those who get a lot of bad faith insurance practices. Erie is listed as #24 on the "Hall of Shame". Thank goodness Erie hired a man that came from the best rated company in the "Hall of Fame". Erie has drug my claim out for years. I turned them in to the insurance commission then got my first denial within 3 weeks.(Hum) So, I took them to Court (General Sessions) and won against an attorney provided by Erie. Erie appealed of course, trying to run me off. It will not happen. Tn. is a bad faith insurance state. (Thank goodness) The FBIC gives a list of all states and what they allow in order to fight "bad faith practices". Please look it up, you'll better understand why a lot of insurance companies practice this theory. Bottom line is most walk away, few settle, and maybe 1 out of a hundred fight. Result, they net a profit. At this point, the "FBIC" says "don't buy from this bad faith insurance company. Hopefully, Terrence Cavanaugh will change the bad faith practice rating that the "FBIC" has given Erie. Chubbs is listed as one of the best on the "FBIC" list. Glad to see Jeffrey A. Ludrof gone.
