I dont have a problem with the bail out as it seems neccessary to restore consumer confidence in our system. What i do have a problem with is that banks , monitored by the feds, financial services companies, monitored by the feds, got us here is the first place so i am sure they are standing in line to get their duffs bailed out , but what happens after the bail out? Do these companies who participate get to get off scott free/ Do the politicians, who participated in this so called crash, get to get off scott free? If that is the case then Americans will loose faith in our system anyway. There needs to be some pay back to the system by the very companies that have us facing this situation. Loaning money to someone who simply cannot pay it back is and has always been a bad plan and it seems banks and the fedws allowed this for what reason i do not know. In any event it is time Americans hold accountable thos making the decisions . Our elected officals. Not the president. He is just a face man. The congress is solely responsible for this. We pay them to do a job and what happens/
I loved the fact that nancy Pelosi called for a revamp and she seemed so serious. I also noticed that she didnt tell the public about the larger jet she wanted to have at her disposal because the smaller one just didnt cut it. I wonder if she got the bigger jet at our expense. Congressional leaders need to seriously cut back themselves. They are no better than you or I and they are running our country into the ground! It is time for us to put a stop to this. We should only elect people who have our best interest at heart and not theirs. The tax and spend mentality of the congress must stop!
