Hear! Hear! I'd like to see us go back to the 20% down on a house, based on ONE income, FIXED rate mortgages, etc. Instant gratification is a huge issue. These folks today have nothing in reserve to fall back on if times get hard. Unfortunately, they are learning that the hard way and taking alot of others down with them.
