What brilliant MBA came up with this idea (I would liked to have been in the room when that idea was put forward)?
Worse still, the MBA's at Wachovia thought this looked like a good idea and something that they should buy - $122 BILLION of it.
When you're stupid, you deserve to go down in flames.
No, the government shouldn't help any bank that makes BAD business decisions; and not everyone DESERVES a house (don't let anyone pluck your heartstrings). Homeownership is not the American right, it's the American Dream.
