Deregulation, then greed. I guess its too much to ask that I am appreciated as an insurance professional. I must be a banker and mutual fund salesman too.
I asked my buddy at Merrill Lynch if they required him to sell insurance. He told me he is licensed, but nobody really expects him to sell insurance. And he doesnt. I have seen the kind of insurance banks and brokerages write.
All I can say is pray you don't have a loss.
