I'd be more for this bill if the Senate and House would guarantee this would work vs. us being in worse debt in 4 years. Maybe each member should put up 4 years of salary, that if in 4 years or less, we are in a deeper recession than we are now they'll pay us their 4 year salary back. If they disagree, then that just shows they are gambling with billions of dollars and I don't want our politicians playing with my tax dollars in Vegas. I'd bet right now that this will only prolong the agony. Americans are tapped financially. If you make $500 a week and your bills are $500 a week, you can't take out a loan and pay $600 a week. Some people will take this loan, but then in a few months their car or whatever will end up in repo. Or better yet, they'll file bankruptcy and we'll all pay more. The math doesn't work. We need someone with brains to work in Washington. This is just plain stupid.
