Subject: For Ralph and Brokette
Brokette, I agree. Why do you reward someone for driving your company into the ground? I think SEC should look at the regs that pertain to stock options for exec pay. That idea and practice has been around for several decades and the rationale was that if the exec grew the company he/she would reap rewards for a job well done. Unfortunately I think a lot of these folks have become quite adept at raising stock values for their own benefit while doing little to improve the value to the other stockholders, the employees and the customers.
