I lost all respect for A.M. Best when I learned they have no method of checking "proprietary" hurricane models insurance carriers use to project hurricane losses. And that was long before AIG's problems came to light... I forget what was AIG's rating just before they extorted 152 Billion from taxpayers - A- or something along those lines. Who cares what A.M. Best thinks about any company, they have lost all credibility.
