Since when is offering/participating in a deferred compensation program a "scheme?" If it is, I am sure Reuters and many others of us particpate in similar "schemes." If there is more to the story, they should do their job and report it; otherwise, they should stop pandering and just report the facts.

And isn't the other side of the story the fact that employees earned this money in prior years but it is now being denied to them?

No, not an AIG employee . . .
