It may be called a bailout but I believe the $$$ given to AIG is still considered a loan. The feds may have included a few restrictions but otherwise AIG is free to spend the money as they see fit - be it good, bad or indifferent. That's the way loans work......we are saddled with self serving politicians that are very adept at creating issues whenever it moves them. Many know much of the public is easily distracted by attacks by our put upon very hard working politicians so they get good press by dreaming up more issues to comment on - knowing nothing about them is irrelevant! We have truly elected a pathetic group in congress....
